The high cliffs of Childewood did not save its villages from the monster wave that swept everything and everyone away. Trees eventually took root again in the cliffs of Childewood. The Igri told tales of the danger in its angry seas, and catious travellers posted warnings of the demons within. For the children never left the land. Their spirits still lurk among the trees in Childewood. Climbing, playing and forever watching.
